I don't know what country you live in but I know for a fact that coper jacketed 7.26x39's and 7.62x54's will go through plenty of 1/4" steel. If you want pics, I can provide.

Well, I do have a rather intricate plan for the propane and oxygen metering system. There also is a compressed air tank for venting so making it a hybrid will be a cinch if I ever figure out how to keep the ammo in the barrel. The pipe was some 6.75" ID that my shop had sitting outside for a long ti...

Yeah, I have an elaborate scheme for oxy/propane mixing. As for hybrid, I don't know how I could keep the projectile in there. Incidentally though, because of the ventilation problems I'm having, it would be REALLY easy to make it a hybrid with my venting system. The barrel is 2.625" ID. Perfect for...

The target was a piece of 1/8th inch plate that I got from work. It was just leaning there. Distance was 36 feet.

Lurker no longer

Finally after a couple years I join you guys. I made my first combustion about 3 years ago. It's all steel and everything is 1/4" thick. The first design was 76" of 2 5/8" ID pipe. But that didn't work at all so I got some 6.75" ID pipe that is 24" long and attached it to the back of 42" of the orig...
