Yeah 5 minute epoxy should work just fine, rough the metal and plastic surfaces with sandpaper to help the glue stick. Also im assuming you are making a mini combustion, they arnt high pressure so it should work just fine.

You can wrap the air chamber in a few layers duck tape. This is not a substitute for glue regardless of what the mythbusters say but in the event of an explosion the duck tape will keep the chamber together keeping the shrapnel all together and steady.

go 50 cal you can get 50 cal paintballs to fire out of it
