Yeah, im thinking along the lines of a ghetto magazine (pen tube) to start and then eventually upgrade to a replaceable one.

Semi Plans-Need Input

I haven't been on in a while, but with the coming of the summer break and inactivity I have been itching to make another gun. Well I recently came into possession of two perfect airsoft barrels. Both about 9 inches. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa183/smartrocker9000/Spudfiles/P6090028.jpg With...

(edit: beaten....) 1. Get it as close to 6 mm as possible. Some people suggest arrow shafts from wal mart as your barrel. 2. Most people use air compressor. You can use anything that can supply a constant supply of air, ie a big a$$ air tank, Co2 tank and regulator etc. 3. A popular design is made f...

Thats really cool. I would leave it clear so you can show your unknowing friends how your marker guns or some pen guns work. I know when people ask me how pistons work I will show them your video now.

Btw, what pressure are you running that pen tube?

~make some sort of pen gun.

~finish my copper gun

~make a high pressure pump

~make a moderately large pvc coax

~and maybe make a low mix hybrid

Looks like it will be fun. So when is estimated testing time? I'd like to see this compared to your pen gun in performance.

Sounds cool. I'm not sure about the 3 gallon compressor moving from the recoil though.

Whats the size of your cannon? Have any specs so far? Pictures would be great asap.

Nice. What is the vortex block made of? Also, what are you using as your barrel (looks like aluminum tube) and where did you get it?

Yes, but they have very little volume which means it will take forever for it to get to the pressure you want.

May I suggest making a pen gun or a small coaxial for use with them as VH_man suggested above. Those are the only things in my mind worth pumping for.

Why dont you just cut of the tail of the zip tie as it is doing nothing but making it look ridiculous. You could replace it with a hose clamp covered in electrical tape or something of the sorts.

What are you using as your air source? Looks like fun. Any estimate on the ROF?

Nice bbmg.

Its better to just buy a carbon fiber tube, i guess they are stronger and longer Ahh, but here is where you fail, not everyone has access to carbon fiber tube. They might not fit and will probably be more expensive. Almost everyone that lives anywhere populated has a place where they can buy a carb...
