The footprints idea sounds pretty solid. The key to a tattoo is the visual impact at first glance. Foot prints moving up indicate ascension etc etc yadda yadda.

Get it in a place where it's easy to conceal.

The person who wrote that article obviously had nothing to go on other than the photo, which is obviously staged.

I would think that some of the members of this forum could build a much more efficient grappling hook gun at about half of the size that that monster of a gadget takes up.

I live between Baltimore and DC. My house shook like a goddamned leaf. Apparently there was also a somewhat large quake in Colorado this morning as well.

Would that make it an all season tire?

The rubber needs to engage the bb at the top of the barrel so it can give it spin in the proper direction.

You can make your vortex out of a slice of tubing. The reason people normally do it from blocks is that it's easier to connect your inlet and outlet pipes.

Do what poland said and try to release all of the gas through the popoff. You could also go buy the torch attachment and just run it outside. Don't work with it unless you're confident in your safety.

Hacksaws and a set of files are all I use for cutting metals. Use the right blade like JSR suggested, and you'll be through it in no time.

You should take some diesel fuel and rub it on that tank. Some guy did it to his car and it turned the rust black, giving it an old bomber look. As long as you then have a rust inhibitory clear coat you should be good to go. I would try to continue with that worn/ distressed construction machinery l...

The combustion is already contained if the spud is cut on the end of your barrel, meaning that the round acts as your burst disk. The reason burst disks provide such tremendous results is that they allow the pressure to build up and then rapidly be discharged, instead of gradually build up in a more...

Very clever. I doubt you need to leave the lid of the bottle on as you fire, but that would ruin the illusion.

Tech, I was referring to the possibility that the stock may have a bow to it. Corners are no issue with tool chatter. They just need to be "broken" as the term is. In pen turning, where the hollow material is threaded over a mandrel, the straightness of the mandrel is paramount. One millimeter of bo...

It means your stock isn't perfectly straight, or your tool isn't sharp enough.

You could put a conical tail on it to give it a teardrop shape and then make a sabot.

The sabot could simply be from the same dowel stock, just drilled to asscept the conical tail, and cut so that it seperates upon exit.

If it isn't airtight, a filler material would make it so. However, most cases of pipe being sleeved result in an airtight connection anyways. Some instances require a certain amount of labor with a hammer and such things to get the pipes to cooperate.
