Hop up Bucking
I know this site is primarily for spud related projects, but i've also seen straight airsoft post (at least in this forum) so, i was wondering if you guys could help me out with a little problem. I've been searching forums and the rest of the internet for the past 2 hours, but can't seem to find any...

I was the proud (and pained) owner of the strafer for about two months. As the article said, the strafer can be dangerous as can be see here . The problem was with the valve with my particular strafer, and Paul Piper said he wanted to personally look into the problem to make sure it doesn't happen a...

RAP4 makes the bbs with fins, but they're expensive and you have to buy two separate parts to the bb - the pellet (with fins), and a casing to fit each one in so they fit better into the mag. these casings get ejected, and replacing them would definitely get expensive i contacted scaar again a few m...

sorry. reading the quoted text makes me feel really stupid. It's the Asahi M 40 . They use the blade bullets. I only know of one person that has one, since most were destroyed. there's a video of him using it (the M40 with the shells) go to scaar.at and look in the videos section of the website. The...

i'd like to remove the paint, but i don't want to damage it, hence the hesitation. I think the paint itself brings down the quality, as it wasn't originally there, just painted by airsoftglobal.com because I live in the States, and ONLY for that reason. JSR: I'd like to disassemble a shell to see ex...

My New Toy - Tanaka Colt SAA .45 Casyopea
I know it's not a BBMG, but other people have posted airsoft stuff, right? So, many of you know about the raid on Tanaka Works in Japan a couple of weeks ago. If not, you can read about it here Anyway, due to a rumor that the replicas could be converted to fire a .22 round, the guns are now banned. ...

it's a push button valve. neospud told me it gives for a shorter time between initial trigger pull and the first bb leaving the barrel than the basic air gun or pressure washer handle. I fixed my regulator the other day and finally got the commando running at over 100 psi. at that pressure, it's pos...

It's just the opposite here in PA. The local walmarts have gone from just the crappy springers to selling better and better models. Gander Mountain also sells a nice low level AEG for about $100 from what I hear. Check the sports stores like dicks if you can't find it at Walmart. I'm sure they'll al...

yeah, go with a vortex. more gas efficient, higher ROF. In fact, an inline with a plunger would be even better due to the constant feed directly into the vortex Those 9 and 20oz CO2 bottles get expensive after a while. I went through two in just a few hours of CQB play. The Kobalt CO2 system is grea...

I was looking for something to put on the existing rails, but that looks like a good idea for the bbmng I'm curretly working on. or just something like this fore example. Cheap, safe, realistic-ish looking without the danger of hurting anyone. You don't need the adapter so it's cheaper. Just slide t...

hey, sorry to bring up even a slightly old topic, but I finally found a way to carry this thing around without that stupid plastic bottle. http://images.roosterteeth.com/mindflayer25492235ee0631c.jpg the bb goes in the small bottle, and the bottle goes into the silver pendant. http://images.roostert...

JSR: Thanks for the help (albeit unknown) in finding a post. neospud sent me some different materials to try out in the Mark III(i) Commando to find a better hopup material. I mentioned seeing a design for (what I remembered being) hopup using a spring and ball bearing of some sort. He said he'd loo...

well, it was kind of bleeding too much to see anything, and hurt too much to touch at all. Like I said, the bbs hit the bone and rattled my whole hand to the point where I thought it might have broken my finger The only tools I had on my person were a pocket knife and a set of allen wrenches. as for...

woulda been cooler if the bb still has blood on it maybe, but that'd be a bio hazard I'm working on making it into a key chain or necklace of some sort. Kind of a good luck charm How did cold weather make the gun shoot by itself? i don't know. It shot fine out my window that morning (room temperatu...
