Is standard air line hose suffice with CO2?
For my project, I have a 20oz. CO2 canister with a Palmer Pursuit Stabilizer. I am running standard 3/8" ID Spray Hose (airline) into a hose barb on the end of my cannon. My question is, is this hose strong/durable enough to handle the coldness of the CO2 running through it? I will be shooting proba...

Alright, I got it figured out... apparently I didnt have the solenoid screwed in tight enough AND we had a hose barb connected to about a 3ft hose then to the airgun... After tightening the solenoid and then shortening the hose to about 6" the gun fires real nice. But of course after getting about 5...

Is it necessary to epoxy the solenoid hole?
Is it necessary to epoxy the solenoid hole after you've done the air gun mod to a sprinkler valve? I just completed this today and simply screwed the solenoid back into place hoping that would seal it, but is this not the case?
Thank you in advance everyone!

Blowgun PSI rating
Hi guys,
I will be adding a blowgun to our sprinkler valve. On the side of the blowgun available it says Safety Blow Gun - 30psi max. The ones available from BCARMS are 120psi blowguns. Is there a significant difference between these two blowguns?
Please advise,
Thank you

Yes, all parts are pressure rated, and obviously the target is not a human, considering it's a school project. The target is either a large shape or color or Infrared emission. This is our biggest challenge right now- the target acquisition system. Most IR systems are only good up to like 80cm, not ...

Roboman, we did run across the CMUcams. Turns out our lab already has 2 CMUcams, just not sure how to use them yet! haha. One concern is, this thing will be run outside in direct sunlight, I read that CMOS cams have a hard time dealing with it b/c it floods the red pixels and creates and ultra high ...

Thanks for the luck. One thing that's important to remember, if you look at my original post, is that this is only a very minor portion of my overall project. I know you guys love your cannons, but all I need is a simply designed cannon that will work repeatedly and consistently. We have a few other...

Hi guys, sorry for the absence. I'm sure most of you remember that a senior project is very involved. But I have made some progressions. I have all the parts but the 2.5" Tee, screw on cap, and coupling at the top of the hopper. Below are is updated version of the model, as you can see the valve is ...
