just loged in after like 6 months second post i read im still rememberd :D i used a very low input pressure of about 50psi i started the second compressor and wated till it toped out at around 1000psi the motor was running but it reached its limit i then input about 10psi it went up to about 1400psi...

Well if you don't listen to us you'll probably have an extremely unreliable go kart anyways. You are far too much concerned with the engine than with the practicality of the design. This vehicle has a 3hp engine and a 20mph top speed. Notice the 1/8" square carbon steel tubing. It had 3 kill switch...
