Re: 6mm Bolt Action Bullpup
Nice work Django I bet it would work nice with .2s. I do like BTBs suggestion for the layout, but youve built enough of these things that im betting you did it for a reason. What kind of range are you getting? What kind of power are you hoping for? Its built solid - you could always crank the pressu...

Re: Crosman 1322
Results seem promising, I, like BtB, think its well suited to a big bore barrel. Probably work very well with a 24 inch barrel in .22 from crosman aswell. The big difference I'm assuming will be how many pumps the valve will dump before retaining air, that's why the stock valve is only reccomemnded ...

Re: Crosman 1322
Nice looking breech Jack. I prefer em in black too, but polished brass can look great on the right gun.
I didn't see any rails milled in, is it just set up for for the stock sights?

Re: Crosman 1322
That's s nifty looking gun, have a look at http://tko22.com They sell muzzel brakes that are supposedly quite good for making your guns more 'neighborhood friendly'. Oh and they have a couple of nice info pages too... I'm interested in the 22xx HPA conversion using disco parts. Haven't used one of t...

Re: Crosman 1322
Those were very nice links Gippetto. Definatley got my mind working! I'd never heard of the FX independence, but it does seem to fit the bill of what I'm after quite well, Thanks for that Jack. Should hopefully be able to find a way to do similar with a crosman pumper for a lot less money. I'd be ha...

Re: Crosman 1322
That's a good doc, read it before, its one of the things that got me interested in modding these pistols. Im very keen to see what you come up with. The idea of a mod for these pistols that hasn't been seen before is pretty impressive, there have been so many things done to them. I'm keen to find a ...

Re: Crosman 1322
Keen to see what you do with this one. I love these crosman pistols. So simple, so easy to work on, and so many of the parts swap between models. There are heaps of modding rescorces on the net. I'd look up the poly tube transfer port mod, basically you just use a short not of tube in palce of the m...

Good info! Never had much to do with trucks, So this is new to me... but the usual QEVs we see are only rated to about 145 psi, and people take them much higher.. Id be interested to know if something designed for truck brakes was a bit more robust. As for giving you too much credit Cane Toad - I do...

Thats pretty cool. Im keen for any more info you have on the valve... can you get them in a normal Auto store? or do they come from more specialized place? Also, it kind looks like its a manually operated exhaust valve... did you just make up a trigger that depresses some sort of release that sends ...

Id be very interested to see an expansion of the topics covered here. Opening up chemical based launchers and propellants would be great. Spud files has a very creative member base, who think in ways you don't find elsewhere. As mentioned there are plenty of gun smith forums, but they are just as li...

really? Ill take your word for it... but I would have thought a reasonably strong disk would have held up. For the above example (10x mix that makes 1000psi) a disk that burst at 500psi would hold the pre ignition mix and whatever back pressure resulting from the piston moving back, the pressure sho...

You can get co2 mags and pb guns, you just need a gun licence. Im well aware of what you can get if you have a license. I should have said that the average person cant get these things easily. My biggest issue with a gun license (and I know im going to sound paranoid here) is that having a license ...
