I Know JSR will appreciate my fame....
Past coupla years I've been starting my own manufacturing company making Muzzle Brakes of my own design, and Have Now been given the Old_painless stamp of approval.... Not to mention the approval of everysingle customer who's purchased or tried my brakes... Here's a link to the newest chapter of JSR...

Ok, Sortof of topic, but not really... Today I was running some 1"thick aluminum plates with various features and the like, with an o.d. on one of the features 18.500"-18.499", ok .0005"+/-, no biggie... Ran them, measured them 18.4993"(they still get anodized and spec'd dimensions are after plating...

Bullet resistent media (glass/lexan/etc) are designed to dissipate the energy through deformation(lexan) and energy consumption through cracking... On such a small piece there isn't enough surface area to effectively consume the energy before the glass was destroyed... I believe most ratings are bas...
