Hey guys, I currently have a 2' , 2" chamber with additional reducing couplings on the sides (to fuel, and to barrel). I've noticed this is a pretty long and thin barrel, which the wiki said is conducive to DDT. Would you all recommend I shorten the chamber? I mean I could get more reducing coupling...
If you're savvy with electronics, you can get a CRT TV and get the transformer they use to supply high voltage (the flyback), hook it up with a more or less easy to build circuit (555 timer or 2N3055, but the latter generally fails) and give yourself some pretty high voltage. It's harder to make but...
It takes a special kind of stupid to research the topic and leave thinking that air/propane at 1X might rupture SCH40 steel. That's the funniest thing I've heard in awhile :D Otherwise, the problem you seem to have (as others have indicated) is too long of a chamber and improper mixing. Give it som...
Yeah, I guessed that much. What I'll probably do is keep the stungun close to the chamber and connect to the inside with wire / electrodes leading to the a spark strip, (made with PCB? maybe an insulated coathanger) and have a long range switch for the actual stun gun. But of course the stun gun won...
Hey-o. I bought a stun gun the other day and the clerk would only sell me one that was charged (basically plug in the wall). How should I dismantle it without shocking myself? Also, how well do stun guns work at handling high pressure chambers, such as in a hybrid?
Hey guys. I'm building a hybrid, plan to take it up to 10X - 15X, and I have the fueling system inline with the chamber, as with other cannons I've seen in the showcase. Thing is, will a ball valve between chamber and fueling system have to be steam rated, or will a rating for inert gases suffice? I...
