Its at the breech, I figured out why they were shattering though. I didn't have the gas system working properly so I was sending the bbs up the feed tube into the metal of the hopup with no air feed from the rear to push them into and out of the barrel. When it was pressurized 125psi of air shot the...

I installed the hopup rubber today on the mechanism and had to cut the rear off of it because it was causing jams. I got it fixed and tested thought and holy crap its insane. I need to get some better bbs thought because the .12 grams I bought to test it with were shattering in the hopup. Ill get a ...

I had a bit of a redesign with my ammo feed. I decided not to do the cloud feed system because I feel like it would have used a large amount of gas, instead I revised my original tube feed system by fitting a t onto it so that I can use a cap to refill the feed tube. The reason that the t is 1/8th i...

I got the basic module finished today, I need to go back to the supply store to get some different fittings to shrink it down, but it works, I only put 25psi through it because I dont have the barrel or hopup rubber installed but it was a successful test. I had a problem with the bb feed hose coming...

I got my solenoid in the mail today and it looks nice, I should make it by the hardware store tomorrow to get the stuff to finish the mechanism. Hopefully I will be able to fire it in base form this weekend... The Pictures are of the Mechanism with the Solenoid on in the way that I had planned on ru...

I was trying to come up with a better way of doing it than just coiling them but that is the simplest. Should I t the air supply off the valve then? I could run a T off the solenoid valve and run part of it to the Air inlet on the hopup and then run the other side to the bb feed with a ball valve so...

Yes, It will be a fielded weapon, I will be using .12g or .2g and I have several choices for barrel length so overall velocity can be controlled by length as well as pressure. What would you recommend for a loading mechanism? I would like to keep a large amount of bbs loaded. I was originally planni...

Direct Feed Airsoft MG project
I am in the process of making a direct feed BBMG. The base for the mechanism is a metal M4 hopup unit that feeds into a 6.05mm barrel that is 363mm long. The bottom of the hopup is connected to the ammo feed hose which is a 1/4 ID high pressure braided hose. The rear nozzle is a 5/16th nipple with 1...
