Whoa, HPA is going to be more consistent especially with temp. changes, but c02 has advantages as well.. For example, not everyone has a way of filling up HPA tanks, but you can go to sporting goods stores to get co2 fills really easily. I know he said he played paintball, so that shouldn't be a pro...

I don't understand what is wrong, this is a forum, so why can't he build a piston valve and post a detailed thread about it? So what if young children see it, there is a lot worse stuff out there.... Yes thats what nesting is. Nesting (at least with the pipe I use) doesn't even give as good as a seal than using real couplers for me, but your pipe diameters may work well. If you can try to get couplers and real fittings instead, but nesting would work as long as there is enough material being cem...
