i like the cannon exept for the reducers. and the dwv Y. is this used for paintball? just saying because its nerf footballs. I like it the paintjob rocks. On the non-pressure side it's fine. Once it begins exhausting, the psi is dropping quite dramatically and instantly. It doesn't have to hold sta...

Da Pneu Kid wrote:That is a sweet cannon! I love the paintjob too. But... those bell rducers are DWV. since you're only taking it up to 40 psi, it's prolly ok, but just don't take it higher than that.
I pressure tested it to 120psi for 12 hours and it didn't blow up.

Where do you buy your Cannon Supplies?

Where does everyone shop for parts? I'll list some of the items and places that come to my mind, please add to it, and we can help each other find the best and/or cheapest parts. For pneumatic cannons: Pop Safety Valves: http://www.mcmaster.com 48435K71 (72) and 50265K23 These are too cheap not to g...

The reason I asked, is, when I hear sabot, I think of a break-a-way casing. Like a cardboard tube slit in 2 or 3 sections. Water balloons are always a problem, especially in a 2-inch bore. We have been working on a sabot system for those small water balloons, but, part of the problem is the initial ...

Thanks,
The paintjobs become a necessity (more than just trying to look cool) when you are running around in the woods trying to stay hidden.

80psi Max, typically about 65psi.

Thanks on the paintjob, this one wasn't very good, it was a quickie to have it ready for a game.

Apology accepted. but no kissing to make up, I gotta draw the line somewhere. It's all too mushy for me. Call me a bad name, I'll feel better. I have finally decided that under no circumstance do I want my rank changed, not ever. If it ever increases I will stomp my feet and use lots of *'s and %'s ...

I use a 2 1/4" hole saw, with the center drill bit removed to cut 2" foam plugs. You insert a foam plug into the bore, then pour in your smaller projectiles of choice, then use another plug to top it off. Ram it down and fire.
