Sadly no. I had to focus on school, graduating, and now working. At some point, I'd like to get back into this hobby but it's on the backburner for the time being.

Re: ElectroThermal Cannon
How much pressure are you going for? What will you be shooting out of it and what velocity are you going for? If the answer is "maximum power to shoot a bullet-like thing", then there's really only one formula I can think of that makes sense: 4140 (or similar strength alloy), burst disc, big bottle...

Re: The Yeet Machine
Fantastic work! I’ve always loved tanks and tank combat, so I decided to attempt to make it look like an anti-tank gun, meaning I’d also need to make a mount of some sort. Something that is immediately apparent, I particularly like the elevation mechanism. Also the fact that it's breech loading, I ...

Re: ElectroThermal Cannon
Welcome to the forum! After investigating hybrids for a short while, I found Larda's Electro-Thermal gun and instantly wanted to build one. So, here's my first attempt at a design for one, subject to much How come you discounted hybrids? From what I remember of Larda's work, his hybrid was signific...

Re: ElectroThermal Cannon
I'm not familiar with these as I'm more of a potato/soda can launching kind of guy myself. However, after watching Larda's videos of his shooting, might I suggest just buying a bolt action target rifle instead? Jokes aside, I haven't seen Larda in forever and I don't think anyone else around ...

Re: The Yeet Machine
Excellent work! I don't think I've ever seen a breech-loading piston pneumatic before. That's pretty unique for a cannon of this size. That's awesome that you pulled that off. Well done. Regarding your metered propane cannon, I wonder what went wrong there? They are notorious for being consistent, ...

ElectroThermal Cannon
Hello everyone! I've been a lurker for a year or so now, having come here for help and research on multiple occasions on nearly all of my projects. Over the last few years, I've made multiple basic hairspray cannons, a very temperamental metered propane cannon, and a large and rather powerful pneuma...

The Yeet Machine
Hey everyone! Been lurking here for a while after discovering this place while doing research on a pneumatic cannon, finding solutions to problems, etc. Now that it's been designed, built, and tested a few times I figured I should post here. I'm going to break this down into parts/chapters to make i...
