Well I have not got it working yet. I am using a remote activation system for the solenoid, so I can't mod it for pneumatic activation. Is there a small inverter of some sort that I could use to turn the DC current into AC current? I have looked around but all I can find is friggen huge ones that I ...

Solenoid Help
The solenoid on my rainbird sprinkler valve is just not actuating. I have three 9v cells connected in series as a power source. It says 24v AC and I have 27v DC, is this a problem? How can fix this problem? I have roughly an hour starting now to fix this. **Nevermind, there is no way I am goi...

Tricky question.
If, lets say, there was a pipe with an internal diameter of about 1 1/2'' filled with air and a continuous spark from a stungun was arcing across a gap in the centre.
If a large amount of propane in the form of gas started passing passed it, would the propane ignite?

So why is it that propane you buy commercially in metal containers is in liquid form yet has an output gas pressure of around 100psi? ** Nevermind, silly me. I was thinking of a homogeneous mixture of propane. Instead of air and propane. I would like to know one thing though, how likely is it...

Thanks for the advice guys, I will post some pics of my progress though out the next month. I don't think a hybrid would be to difficult to do, essentially a hybrid is a multiplication of the propane and air mixture by a certain factor right? Then what would happen when you reach the pressure at whi...

just use a small barrel, not any larger then the porting. Or build a larger valve with a larger porting to fire a large barrel at full power. Yep, that would work. Thanks Brian, I wasn't aware of an actual working cannon using this valve layout, I have seen concepts though and even came up with one...
