Thread for beginners

Right, I know how hard it is for beginners to find certain things out. And I know due to other forums how annoying it is for experienced people to explain things over and over. So my idea was to make a thread to help all beginners :D If possible, PCGUY, could you please make a whole new board on the...

Good. Is there anything just as good you could recommend? Preferably cheaper though and easy availability from DIY shops and such like.

Do vortex disks use a lot less air than clouds or do they both use about the same?

How do vortex disk loading work?

I know how the vortex disk works, but I don't understand how the BBs go into the vortex disk. Wouldn't, unless shaken, the BBs get stuck in the top of the T?

Thanks

To model the supah, I use a chamber sealing valve; piston diameter of 2.5", 2" seat, CV of 60%, pilot vol 16 in^3, vent diameter .375-.57" (supah vs su...

Is this pipe OK?

Im making a 6mm BBMG and was wondering if this pipe would be OK. It's in my price range and it says 12,400PSI but I was wondering if nylon would be OK. It's quite hard to get to though. Go on http://www.mcmaster.com then search for nylon 6/6. Then click Tubes (to the right) then Inside Diameter 1/4"...
