I guess it's just a matter of taste. Allso you can reload a pneumatic realy fast if you have a compressed air tank attached to it. Just like on air rifles. You can have semiautomatic pneumatics and then the reload time is reduced to less then a second. However it takes alot more time to build one, b...

Thanks :D The reason I only shot at 100psi is becouse thats maximum my bike pump can deliver. I got one of these 250psi compressors that connect to a car 12V outlet, but I haven't had the chance to try it with this cannon. I can say though that this cannon is at least twice as powerfull at 100psi as...

Marble shooting piston gun
Here is a piston gun I have built lately. The barrel is 18mm, 1.5m long copper pipe and reservoir is 28mm 1m long pipe. It fires mostly marbles and AA batteries. I usualy put tape around the batteries to make them fit tightly into the barrel. The piston is made of a wooden dowel with a rubber circle...

Modifying a B3-2 rifle to make it shoot faster.
I'm thinking to modify this spring-piston rifle into something more powerfull. The first thing i could think is stretching the spring. Though that was suprisingly difficult. I took it out once and barely managed to put it back. Stretching it was even more difficult. I think i got it just a little bi...

Gamo supersonic air rifles?
How can gamo make air rifles that break the sound barrier? http://www.gamo-airguns.com/air-rifle-hunter-series.htm
From what i've read, it is impossible to break the sound barrier with a pneumatic
edit: Does anyone know what that "powerplant" is and how it works?

Maximum speeds
Whats the maximum output velocity of a pneumatic powered by air (in theory, discarding all the other variables)? Allso what are the speeds for other gasses?

Supah vs ordinary piston valve
I'm just wandering if there is a difference in performance between a supah (chamber seal?) and barrel sealing piston valve. Couse as far as I understand from the supah valve photos at spudtech there is not much difference. I have built a gun based on the one GalFisk built with a few minor changes. H...

Actualy I had a sprinkler valve on my first gun and I'm rather dissapointed with its performance. Maybe you'll get good performance if you mod it, never tried. My recent gun is built after plans and ideas found here: http://galfisk.kaaven.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=14 and it realy kicks ass. P...

I allways wanted an airgun as well and wasn't allowed. I remember I told my woodwork teacher at school that I was gonna build an airgun. She got realy mad and told me it was illegal and that I couldn't do that in school. A couple of years later me and my friend built a deodorant combustion potato gu...

What happends is there is a piston, like in a engine, the air comes in presses the "hammer" in to the ground and when the air accepcts, the air pushes it back up, over and over. That is a good idea. Ill look in to it and get back to you. Tennis ball cannon 3 balls a second   :twis...

How does this cannon work?
I understand how barrel closing piston valve works, but what about this one? Can someone post a diagram? Couse I haven't been able to find any info on this =(
