Ive made a few ballistas over the years, most simple being a lager siege crossbow with a winch for the bow. They are great fun to build, just make sure you have quite a bit of time. Thanks Pimpmann, i wanted to have a launcher that had a large chamber volube but without the large size, so having 2 additional chambers added on to the traditional the 2 under the barrel helped tro achieve this. i think it may improove the air flow as well, but im not sure. yeah, i tested it last night. it goes through 8mm ply with ease, using a 3 gram potato slug went straight through a 160 page magazine with a loud cack, it compleatly ripped the last 80 pages in half through both sides of a tin can, really impressive, video coming soon ripped the bark of an old oak t...
