The thought of frozen round shad crossed my mind, i know that ill have to make them a uniform size to make them work. also this may be the first spudgun ive made, but its certainly not the first bit of pyro ive played with. and ive never been patient when it comes to these things. The idea of using ...

I want to make a semi and eventually fully auto combustion spud gun, simply because its something i really havent seen before. from personal experience i know a breech loading bolt action combustion will work. i have been thinking about a fuel injection system from a car, a compressor to blow the ch...

http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... 3&lighter=& i used steel for the barrel in my gun, mostly because i wanted to weld the bolt on, so the bolt action would work. i think in the long run the steel pipe would rust a bit too.

i find also that the larger the battery ie higher amperage the hotter the spark. so i use a full sized car battery. also, im fairly sure that though it feels like a good kick theres almost no way to have it be permanentl damaging to you. unless you put electrodes through your skin the electricity go...

thats the condenser not capacitor The purpose of the condenser is to reduce arcing on the contacts of the relay, and to improve the performance of the ignition coil. If you remove the condenser, the contacts will wear away quickly, and get very hot, and the ignition coil will give off weak sparks. Y...

using a car ignition coil for a really hot sparkl
I made a really simple drawing of how to wire a car ignition coil for use in a spud gun. I have tried this to great success. though it did take me a few tries to get the wiring right(you dont want to be in the circuit if ti doesnt work right, i have its a damn good shock). also you may want to get a...
