to make an ice bullet, just use some of your barrel (leftover or cutoff). seal up the end, use duct tape (it works, i've tried it) pop it in your freezer. when it hardens put it in hot water untill it comes out and your ready to go.

Gears as propulsion? (kinda random)
Ok so when you pull the trigger, it turns a big partial gear. this gear gets to a point, then releases the bolt, propelling the bb forward. the partial gear is spring loaded , so it resets into place for the next shot. This isn't something i've seen before, and i don't have a way to make this so i'd...

where do you get that trigger
i see that some people put a trigger on their sprinkler valve. im kind of new so easy locations (hardware stores, etc.) would be good for me

Compression piston
does anyome think a compression piston would work? you would push a piece of pvc down another piece of pvc with a seal on the end of the small piece at full compression it would lock. you would turn a valve and it would fire. anyone think it'll work?
