Yeah everything is hooked up right, and the arrows are pointing the right way. The valve just won't open. The valve being AC doesn't matter?

I followed the PVC Balistics guide for building the sprinker valve cannon, built it all right, but the sprinkler valve won't open. We're getting 27 volts just fine, but the valve won't open. I noticed that on the valve, it says 24 volts AC 60hz, and batteries are most definately DC. How have you guy...

I built this design, but the sprinkler valve won't work. The electronics are fine, but i noticed on the actuator that it said 24V AC 60hz, and if i'm not mistaken 9v batteries are DC, lol. Did I just get the wrong sprinkler valve?

I'm thinking about building a pneumatic air gun, using an air compressor plugged into the pvc air tank, with a regulator to adjust the pressure of the pvc tank. Would this work? If I unplugged the air compressor from the regulator would the pvc tank discharge? Here is the regulator I was going to us...
