pneumatic?

i have made several combustion canons and I figure its time for a pneumatic. i want to make some sort of cannon with a piston. Yeah I'd rather work with aluminum its tons easier to work with rather than stainless. I think stainless is a bit over kill eh?

ya if you had a 5 foot arm it would be 4foot on one side of hte pivit and 1 foot in the other.. try googling trebs there are some cool programs that help with dementions and counter weights.

are you making it of steel? The length of the arm depends on how tall it is and where the pivit point will be . I think the arm should be the last thing to build. After all is done measure from the pivit point to the bottom where the release will be. I beleive the ideal way to put the arm is 4:1 at ...

super cool bearded dragons i also have one and a crested gecko. but how big is your cage? it looks way too small it should be atleast 8 square feet of floor space. also sand isnt the best substrate it can cause impaction and death... just trying to help :D

ok here's what I made in metal shop is it's a rust bucket because I never got around to sandblasting and painting it. It uses 2 50lb plates for the counter weight. It throws a basketball about 50 yards, I think I can get more distance out of it if I tweek it a little more.
