I don't think that work, the compressor is designed to put out a set pressure there for it won't put out anymore then that pressure. It would ether stall or more likely just let the compressed air straight thought without compressing it further. If you really need more then 250 psi you should just ...

The military usually names their guns after the designer or the type of ammo. IE: Barret .50 Caliber Rifle. Other things like the M-16 started at the M-1 and got upgraded to the M-2, M-3 and so on up to the M-16 now.. no, im fairly sure thats a tad wrong, mate. lets talk america because theyre the ...

a cannon that fires you 100 feet (30 meters) into a lake wouldnt kill you. Not with a 45 foot (14 meter) barrel anyway. youd only have to shoot at like 15 m/s, which isnt a huge amount faster than an olympic sprinter, and thats quite a distance to do it in. BTW 1000 gs is accelerating at 9800m/s/s, ...

if its pretty thick, you probably missed the rating. Go out and measure the mm thickness (fine, inches, damn americans.) and the diameter of the pipe, and we can at least tell you if its drainwater. I can maybey give you an idea of its pressure rating by australian standards too, but i dunno how it ...

Sprinkler valve pressures
Ive got my hands on 2 2400S50H valves, from irritrol. Curiously, they seem to be exact copies of orbit watermaster 1 inchers, except grey and with a marginally different shaped female thread on either end. So the question is, how high can I safely pump these things? theyve been modded to pneumatic o...

hey sgort, i would assume judging by supersonics post that he is infact joking around. He admits it himself: "The above poster's points may or may not be valid, but naturally I did some background checks before reading anything:" I seriously wouldnt take it personally if he said something like that ...

carl, when you misread something, say something stupid to someone, and then get told you said something stupid, cant you just suck it up like a man? Your entire argument just then was based on me being a 'noob' and me being inexperienced on the use of forums. In other words, you had no actual argume...

carl, seriously, i wasnt even talking to you, i was talking to the original poster, trying to explain why you cant say how much PSI a pump puts in. It doesnt put psi in. it puts air in. the amount of psi it puts in is dependant on the volume of waht its putting it into. Infact your reply to me was r...

the last would be pretty good, yeah... However, the first one is easier, and could work just as well. if it were big enough. Put your standard barrel length on there, then put a say... 5 inch silencer over that (big holes so the gases vent inr eal fast), and another 5 inches barrel at the end. Make ...

Im working on a gun right now with two parralel one inch modified sprinkler valves. The problem is, because they have to join up again after they split, theres both a lot of dead volume, and the gas streams are going to smash together at the Y connector and a) blow it clean off b) heat up c) work, b...

there may be an easier way to have it rotate... the easiest way would be to have the barrel assembly isntead of the ammo assembly rotate, and drill a little hole int he side of it that would jet some gas in the other direction. The harder way would require the same thing on the ammo side, with some ...
