Great gun esmith! I was looking on youtube the other day and found your vids. Nice to see some of the internals here. Do you have a link from youtube to this thread? You could inspire a lot more people with your design.

Hey Anarchy, great work. Looks really clean. You were disappointing about the little response a while back> what about a show of performance, cycle rate and efficiency on a video?

Ok, so basically everything behind the chamber spool is part of an internal regulator? It's hard to tell when I can't even be sure of where the gas inlet is... That simplifies things a bit, if it's just a reg, but I think I'd opt for an external reg that can be serviced more easily. If you're going...

I'm going to speak from my posterior for second  and say that, at first glance, that is the most over-engineered piece of crap I've even seen.  I mean, holy hell, tippmann... Think you could add a few more moving parts, o-rings and springs in there anywhere?  They must make a ton of money factory-s...

There definitely is a lot to be learnt from your work, I regularly link to it when hammer valves are mentioned :) what Labtecpower meant was that it's annoying and indeed against most forum policies when someone drags up an old thread without actually contributing anything useful. That was what I w...

X7 Phenom Valving

Simpler than an automag valve.
I am working to get this valve working using standardized parts from the construction shop.

Unless you have something usefull to say (wich, in my opinion, is not the case), don't post. also, read this What do you mean the topic has died? In my opinion a lot of people can learn from the creations I made some time a...

We need to see them in flight with a highspeed camera before we accept this air rifling they claim. How come you don't believe that effect? The drag coefficient of a sphere is about 1.2, that of a bullet shaped object is about 0.3, this is 4 times less! You also have to realize that just like a pel...

You could even try a ring of masking tape around the paintball, I have my doubts as to how effective the "air rifling" is as opposed to the fact that a hollow tail adds draw stabilisation. I tried this out. I added a ring of paper(normal A4 printer paper>one revolution) (of 1.5- 2cm in length) behi...

I was considering that myself. Surely it can't be too difficult to find a way to add some kind of a tail to a paintball. I mean, do a ring of paper that's a little under the diameter of a paintball, sit it on a paintball, dribble some glue in around the join... a passable alternative for a tenth of...

If you want less, but more powerful shots you just increase the power of the rubber bands/springs that pull the barrel back, this pushes the marble back with more force allowing more air to escape before the valve seals again. Yeah that is a way of making it shoot more powerfull(use more air), anot...
