Someone said to me the other day that if you wanna make a semi - auto bb gun, you could take the valve out of an air compressor nail gun, because they only release a quick shot of air and then close... Would this be right?

yeah the thread on the bottle fairly standard , around the half inch mark, so i can't imagine it would be hard to fing fittings. The oxygen bottle would be sweet for the hybrid, super tough. Just thinking of the extinguisher, i think that the bottle is aluminium or soft alloy (please correct me), so...

fire extinguisher bottle
Has anyone used a fire extinguisher bottle for the air chamber on a pneumatic cannon. The one i'm looking to use can hold 160 psi, and i can't see any problems with using one. Anyone got any known problems with one?
