I've been wanting to make a copper piston cannon and am not sure what I should use for the piston. All that I have at my house that I think I can use is Plaster of Paris.

Will this work as a piston, or should I just go and buy something else that would work better?

My brother made a pipe out of babmboo and a thimble, by making a hole in the bamboo big enough for the thimble to set in. me and my friends have made these alot, they hurt really bad to be shot with, weve also made them with the pont sticking out so they stick into things but i never volentered to be shot with one of those because the blunt one hurt bad enough
