I have been hurling potatos tonight with it. WOW, it lights up bright blue with the leds on the fan and booom. Looks like you stuck a Q-Beam spot light in it when it fires. I expected it to look like fire (red) but the light is more white than red. May be because of the blue tint on the pvc. Anyway ...

Yes, the fan runs when I fire it. I use two 9v batterys one for the fan and one for the stun gun. The toggle switch is DPDT so it has two different set of contacts on the back. That way you can use two batterys and still keep them isolated. The stock fans are a little weak on 1-9v, I like to fiddle ...

The clear parts to make this gun were $189.00 shipped to me. All I had extra was 12" of clear 4" as I had to buy 2'. The other items were sold cut to length. That is alot of money for me for a potato gun but it was worth it, I will have this gun for a very long time. My wife thought I was crazy when...

I found a place in Evansville, IN that sells it by the foot, the clear items on the gun is all they have. They did not have the other fittings. It is still very expensive. I will find there contact information if anyone wants it. It is very interesting to watch the chamber when it shoots. It lights ...

My New Clear-over/under-injected-fan-stun gun-tater launcher

Hello all, Here is my 2nd try at a gun. I like this one alot. No straps, no zip ties, and not as heavy. It is a 14"x4" chamber, 1.5 and 2" barrels, 1.5 is slip thru and the 2" you can push the potato all the way to the 90. I spent some time sanding and filling the fittings to get a clean pass on it....

287 FPS with the 2" barrel, potato and map gas. The 1.5' barrel could not brake 200 fps.

added a vent valve today

I got to shot it a few times today, It is very cold here today. I increased the pressure from 40 to 60 psi. It is holding up very well. I made a modification to the end cap. I added a 1" PVC ball valve so I don't have to unscrew the vent cap now. By the time I get the potato in it is ready to go. I ...

Just another mini spud-butane can

Here is the mini I made last night just to shoot in the garage. I have found that using a charge end from a plug in power adapter works very well for the spark. The 90 degree works best. It makes a nice spark and is well insulated. I hold the gun in one hand and the trigger in another. Shoots very w...

what was the approximate cost for all the parts? That is like asking a woman how old she is, and my wife might see this. No really, regulator was about 30.00, Stun gun was 15.00, PVC and fittings were 60.00 I had everything else in the shop. I need to find out if the Gray PVC sch 40 conduit we use a...

King Tator, Thanks I am glad you like it. I used the Burnt Latke web site fuel tool and rat calc to get these numbers. It seems to be right on the money. Here are the smart guess numbers I used. Chamber volume-219.96 ci 1/2" meter pipe- White sch 40 pvc using 40 psi volume of meter pipe is 3.258 ci ...

T-MAXX ( over/under, metered, stun gun, fan) tatter gun

Here is my first try at a gun other than the simple ones. I mounted the stungun coil inside the handle. Trigger switch and safety switch to turn on chamber fan and arm the stun gun is on side of handel I know that I should have done somethings different and I will on the next one. Using mapp gas, ju...
