Because your sparkplug needs to be earthed. When the plug is screwed into the engine head the threads of the plug are toughing the engine (which is connected to the negative of your car battery) and the ignition lead provides the high voltage which bridges the gap to the earthed side. If your plugs ...

Even still I dont like polluting our air even if it will have an absolutely tiny effect on our air quality. Still haven't found the answer to my question. For all we know it could be just as ...

For those of you who didnt know im not using it for combustion, its for a pneumatic. I also said that i am aware that one person using propane in a pneumatic is not gonna do jack to the environment even if it is harmful. I guess no one read my notes at the bottem of my first post. I know global warm...

Environmental issues?

Is it harmful to release non-combusted greengas/propane into the atmosphere? I know methane is bad (speeds up global warming, wont go into details), I dont know about propane however. They use it in airsoft so im assuming it isn't to harmful. Im trying to decide what the best option would be for me,...

Dont know what its called but its one where you push it onto the shrader and push the little handle 90 degrees so that it stays on. How do you mean it can still be used? I would have to install a check valve or some manually operated valve somewhere on the hose. Or to disconnect the shrader from the...

I over pressurized a 160psi floor pump once and it broke the check valve inside it and now it only acts as a pneumatic ram.

Hey good job there. I made something similair a while ago when I didnt understand the physics behind it and i build it with a large area poppet (check valve) and it was nearly impossible to open at 60psi. Just wondering what size is the face of your check valve?

Your very good at making these kinds of guns. I wish i had the tools and materials to make these also. I see potential here for a high pressure semi auto. Simply awesome.

Awesome sniper. You've done a good job of hiding the sprinkler and chamber. As far as im concerned, if it looks like a sniper rifle then you can call it one.

Photo's or video's would be good. Im interested to see your trigger setup i.e steel pipe, to see how you get so many shots out of it. I used a 1kg tank at 120psi and just my fingers to trigger it and i could only get 1.5 shots (yes that is one point five). But yea that is impressive.

That was how I made my first pneumatic. What sort of fire extinguisher was it? Most dry powder ones are rated to 200psi.
