Most paintball fields dont allow PVC air chambers on their fields for insurance purposes.....This may be the reason his chamber is steel , not because of high pressure applications.....My mortars are all steel chamber also because they are much more durable than PVC and the Pulse Valve that I use is...

This is exactly my point guys, you are using a double standard here regarding these valves....If your PVC air chamber is rated for 260psi and you say to be on the safe side never go over 90 psi........Why would you take a PVC sprinkler valve to 150psi when when this is its max pressure rating......I...

Lets not be hasty with sprinkler valve psi ratings.....These valves are not made out of some super plastic that can withstand tremendous amounts of compressed air pressure ....They should be subject to the same safety standards that you use for pressure rated PVC pipe......They may be rated safely f...

You can make one easy enough by using ideas from this site as long as you fit the ammo to the barrel.......Most fields wont allow you to use grenades as ammo for a launcher however as they are too heavy and can knock a paintball mask off during play....Prefered ammo is sabot'ed paintball grapeshot o...

You should keep your eyes open for the 1 1/2" Asco dust collector valves that were posted on the forums a few weeks ago....These valves are specifically designed for pneumatic applications and have much higher flow coefficients than modded sprinkler valves...These valves are very commonly used in ma...

These valves are made in China and are not rated by the same standards that some of the other more well known pnuematics manufacturers use as their benchmarks for performance......Most of the other QEV manufacturers list their lower temp range @ 0 F or lower......You may be better off getting a Delt...

The 160 fps is for LAW type launchers only, because the projectiles are fired on a horizontal plane and can accidently hit someone at close range and knock their paintball mask off during play......The velocity allowed for mortars and artillary cannons on my field is much higher because they are fir...
