1. i just built my new gun and the cleanout cap leaks through the threads, what can i use to fix it?
2. i found the chamber to my old cannon, it is 24 inches of 4 inch pipe, what size barrel should i put on it?

sorry, i have no clue at all when it comes to pneumatics. I was going to try to make one from scratch and i was trying to figure out how long the air chamber should be compared to the barrel.

do air cannons have a good cannon : barrel ratio? if not is their any rule of thumb to how big the chamber and barrel should be?

Hey, its been a while since i posted on here, but anyways im back and with a new gun. i built the chamber with a 3inch "wye" with a 1.5 inch piece that i use for a handle / fuel inlet, and i was wondering where i should put the fan in it, at the back of the 3 inch section, or where the 1.5 connects ...

i was gonna put that on their, but aol was messin up and i got mad, and just said heck with it, it took 3 attempts to get what i did

i used to paintball, but some kid on my street kept to shooting at me when i would walk down the street for no reason , so i casually walked past and when he shot at me i had my spud gun with a burst disk( no ammo) and shot it at the ground, it was loud enough that he hasnt messed with me since.

its used in a basic gunpowder compound, 75% potassium nitrate(saltpeter) , 15% charcoal, and 10% sulfur.

it varys a lot, sometimes it wont be very loud at all , like a medium sized firecracker, other times it will be pretty loud, like a 16 ga., i dont know what happened, but i just shot it and it made my dads colt 45 sound like a 22 and it jamed my end cap threds

im gonna make a new gun anyway, my hardware store sold me cellular core and said it was the heavy duty stuff, its still sch 40, but im not sure if i can trust it, what do u think, i got a new igniter and tried it out, i saw a big difference with the fan

i dont have a choice about a smaller fan i ,ripped out of an old computer, im 14 and have no mode of transportation, would it help if i had the fan on and sprayed the axe in?

i thought of that but i diddnt think it would be practical because it would have to go through the 1.5 tube first, but it wouldnt make much of a diference

i just built it and the one wire was wrapped around a screw and the other was broken off the igniter and i twisted it back on, it was pretty rough
