Thanks for all of the good comments. As for a way to recharge on the field, the only thing I have right now are portable air tanks, which hold enough air to last a while. Eventually I'm going to buy a regulator so I can run constant air, but for now I have to recharge it after every shot.

Placing the pointy part of the egg down is important, as Bboy said, because it is the strongest part of the egg.

Thats awesome. More people should post cannons used for paintball. That's the only reason I build cannons at all. Its the greatest game ever!
