What is a good chamber to barrel ratio on a pneumatic?

I'm in the process of building an over/under pneumatic and before I get to far into it I would like to know, Where should I put the valve; at the start of the barrel or at the end of the tank?

How big should the air chamber be for a 2" diamiter barrel thats 5' long with a 2 inch sprinkler valve.

could you please give me some info on it. has a inlet 3/4 inch and 3/4 out let and a egsaust thats a bout one inch and a small opening in the top

well any way i was wondering if i could open 4 1" valves with a blowgun

i bought this valve but i heard that it opens to slow is this true

I was going to- This is a over under style pneumatic gun the tank is 6" diamitier that is 4' long :shock: and the barrel is 2" diamitier and 4 ' long. I am using a 1" sprinkler valve that i plan to mod. I will charge it to 100 psi. Now I'm going to- make 2 6" tanks both being 2' long and 4 1" valves
