Re: Tennis ball launcher

Sorry for late response, just a heads up.

2-3/4" exhaust pipe from any auto parts store has a Inside Diameter of 2-5/8ths of a inch. ($30 to $50 for a ten foot piece.)
A tennis ball fits perfectly into them.

Re: Why does no one make 12g co2 air guns/cannons?

Decent size spudgun would need one cartridge with every shot.. ^^^ This. Made a chart long ago by unloading an entire 12g CO2 cartridge with the PSI results vs Chamber size in cubic inches. This is at 72 degrees. Hotter and psi goes up, colder and the psi drops. 6 Cubic inches 700 psi 7 Cubic inche...

Re: Are suppressors illegal for pneumatic launchers?

If the "Suppressor" you made can be fixed on a firearm. Then Yes it is illegal. This has been brought up on multiple airsoft and paintball forums. It is hotly debated topic. It really comes down to your local PD charging you for violating a particular statute. And if your district attorney really wa...

Re: 1000PSI+ Canon/BB Shower Launcher

The main point of this would be to act as a longer distance launcher/shower gun for suppression. Could also be used as a mortar to have bbs rain down on the enemy. I use 8oz(?) paper Dixie cups. I tear the seam, hold the cup closed, fill, and load into the breech. You can use bb's, dried peas, drie...

Re: elevation adjustment

It's complex but I made a couple "standards"... http://www.koreanwaronline.com/arms/images/4pt2m2.jpg One on a replica 4.2 inch mortar, and another on a 81mm cart mounted mortar. There is a 1" inch RH threaded pipe with a 3/4" LH threaded rod inside of it. The 1" pipe has a wheel welded to it. When ...

Just an FYI 2.75 tail pipe (you can get a automotive stores) has a inside diameter of 2.625 inches (2-5/8ths). New tennis balls (fuzzy ones) will not roll down but will have to be pushed. Older tennis balls will roll down just fine. Look in the trash cans at tennis courts/clubs to find them. One of ...

What goes up, will come down.

Whatever you design, it must be light or you can kill someone.

Be safe, keep it simple. Stick to nerfs or my favorite, tennis balls.

Lombard Centrifugal Gun circa 1918 Read about it in The Browning Machine Gun Vol 1 by Dolf Goldsmith Claims it would fire 33,000rpm, cannot jam, had no barrel, and go through 3/8th boiler plate at 200 yards. First version was powered by a hand crank, then electric, then steam. It was tested during t...

Sorry for the late reply. You can arc or mig to regular steel with stainless without any worries. When the materials are properly welded, ground and polished it just looks damn sexy. This is a pic of a replica T&E I built for a 1919a4. The outside "ring" is from a stainless steel pipe, and the cente...
