Not sure how much pressure that hose will be exposed to but if your trying to do what I think your trying to do... I would get a 1/4" female hose barb and thread out the quick connect fitting out of the "New Remote" and thread it into the hose barb female end and then hose clamp the barb inside your...

I'm still working away on the cannon guys. I have a new gauge isolated by ball valve meow.. So that's fixed. I inspected the original gauge and noticed that the interior face that the numbers are printed on was actually warped from the test shot! I have plently of stainless steel turnbuckles now for...

Jack.. that picture is exactly the nightmare that comes to mind when I think of raising the barrel into the air on this thing.... I remember seeing the FEAR cannon back in the day before I went AWOL from the site.. To me... his cannon is more of an 88mm flat shooting tank killer while I'm hoping min...

Yep I figured that also and I knew i would need a barrel a mile long to get the maximum from the chamber. I also thought about something as I was writing the post earlier about the big spray paint can part.. There is actually a tube that extends from the opening where the barrel would go - alll the ...

Thanks for the replys guys. As for the rating of the cylinder.. I can't be sure of that. Or the wall thickness. I can tell you that this 32" tall cylinder weights 145lbs empty. This type of halon cylinder stays pressurized at 360PSI for years and years using dry nitrogen to push the halon out of the...

3042 Cubic Inch Hybrid WORKS!
Over the last two days I cut the restrictive valve off the front and welded in a 2" coupling and added a 2" union to open up the air way. I relocated the blasting cap fitting and the fuel/air input and gauge location to the sides of the cylinder and test fired it tonight at 3X mix. Using aluminum fl...

I have found a couple ammo ideas for 2" SDR-26 #1 4oz Oatey brand PVC primer and cement cans. Very close, but not tight fit in barrel. #2 4oz Krylon craft paint spray cans, you can find these at walmart in the crafts section. They are smaller diameter then normal spray paint cans and are about 4-5 i...

So you can buy the fin assembly separate from the whole rocket? The whole deal is priced at $35.00, but if you can get the fins by themselves for $12.00 I think that's a pretty good deal. Especially if you can figure out how to reverse engineer them. On their site it says "Vehicle is 1.385 inches di...

Use a wooden dow or rebar and a funnel. Stick the wooden dow or rebar through the smaller hole in the funnel and then pour the concrete mix around that. Once it's cured you can cut or grind the dow/rebar off to a point after you push the slug out of the funnel. A concrete slug travelling down your b...

The propane is not evaporating fast enough to maintain the pressure you need. Things you can try: Make a "buffer tank" between the main tank and the valve(It should be a couple liters). Paint the propane tank black Make a water jacket for the tank and fill it with warm water. WOW! You obviously kno...

If you look at your adapter it's basically the same thing as a torch head. Your propane has to flow through that teeny tiny hole, through your blow gun and then push a BB down your barrel. I may be way off (as I said in my last post) but I just don't think it's possible to make a bbmg perform as you...

What happens if you wait a few seconds between bursts? I've also tried propane on my MP5 bbmg but it didn't work too well. Does the adapter go straight from the propane bottle to your blow gun or? Edit.. It sounds like when you let it set the pressure builds behind the blowgun and gives a nice shot ...
