Thats 1/4" reinforced nylon braided hose with a working PSI rating of about 300 PSI and a burst strength around 900 psi. I think im good! Last gun used the same design, same hose, didnt have any problems. I'm familiar with the materials, it's not good practice. You seem a little defensive regarding...

unfortunately, cell phone camera is all ive got at the moment. good camera took a trip to the electronics grave yard a while back. Chamber fan is over kill because its an 83CFM fan, vs your typical 30cfm computer fan, this thing will literally remove chunks of flesh if you happen to touch a blade wh...

Its a fixed 20psi regulator from a camping stove. Its so big because ive got so little PSI, but it was cheap, so im using it. I spoke with BC a few days ago about the shipping delay, supposedly he had a mix up with his supplier and got behind on his orders because of it. Said its taken care of now a...

Golf Ball Canon, big and LOUD
Not done yet, still waiting on my golfball barrel from BCARMS, but i couldnt resist trying it out. This is my second gun, basically a redesign/scale up of the first one. salvaged a few components from the old one for this one as well. 4" chamber, measured out to 3600cc 115ml meter pipe with fixed 20...

Darn, so the camping regulators done work? :( I am about to build my 1st propane meter and I was ready to use a salvaged one. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a torch head. you can use it, you can use it just fine. there's nothing wrong with it, you just have to have a much bigger propane meter pip...

I used a propane valve from a camp stove to connect to the tank, i bet that thing is regulated. but anyways heres my setup - tank - valve - 1/8th npt fitting to bushing to 1/2" barb to pressure rated hose, to 1/2" barb...

20psi metered propane
Ive got a 9" long x .5" propane meter on my current gun. Using standard propane tanks, im getting 20psi of pressure in there, which is fine for my current design, gives me a near perfect 4% fuel mixture, but my question is, is my pressure gauge correct? with the valves fully open, the most i can get...

this next gun is going to have a big ass mofo of a fan, thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner when its running. how does ammo type, fan speed and spark effect c:b ratio? golfball's are a very consistant predictable ammo, high speed fan should mix things very well, although im thinking ill have to turn ...

well, i havent seen anything definative on c:b ratios, i see a crap load of numbers floating around on whats best, but no mention to why or what application. My C:B ratio and fuel were "perfect" on my last gun according to one of the calculators i saw, but when i fired it, i got crap range. doubled ...
