How big of a difference is there in a modded sprinker valve and a normal solenoid one? I'm going to keep using the solenoid though. I much prefer an electric fire.

Sorry. By sandwich, I mean place the bb's between two pieces of paper towels. Since it's in a 3/4 inch barrel, it's pretty accurate although I havn't seen how far. I live in a very populated place. People around me are pretty pissy about things of that nature.

Have the projectile be a switch. It would then double as a railgun. Just make sure the projectile switches the coils pretty far back.

I've found it best to "sandwich" a hand full of bb's in a 3/4 inch pipe. Good range, lot's of power.
