Simple Pump Action Design
Hi, i am a rookie with cad, but it will be enough to understand the whole concept. Hopefully your will leave a comment or critique The design comes up with only a few parts. 1. The blue one is the moving part. Built of butane reservoir, outer part of the meter and a piston (with one-way-oring). 2. T...

Re: Qdv question
yes the o-ring can blow off.
there are ways to prevent.
use thick string diameter o-rings
use rubber washer instead of o-rings
cutting slots in the way tech did it on his qdv

Re: percussion cap ignition?
no benefit over a spark gap. but it is for a musket style rifle and it woukd be really cool... maybe it could work with toy gun caps? target is to ignite 5-10x hybrid. and in case of flobert the pressure in the hybrid chamber will rise very high.<-power incrase?

percussion cap ignition?
hi
on a muzzel loader the gas of the percussion cap reach the blackpowdwer for ignition.. right?
what is if the gas was forced via a check valve, into a hybrid chamber. do you think it will work? what is a possible material for the seal of the check valve?

Re: safety question 1 1/4 brass
ok sorry for double post. here is the concept. i belive you understanding it. because of the 1 1/4 pump tube i think i cant go higher than 5x. jean
edit forgot to say the o-ring near the check valve is floating and works like a pump head.

Re: safety question 1 1/4 brass
hi jack i like to go for 20mm/1m for decent power. i know the 100psi rule but i am scare because it is just next to my head... tomorrow i am back at home and show the concept. its based on the .54 pistol i made but just hybrid. the copper t is rated to ~380psi for gas/water. the joints will be solde...
