I have the same Rebel XT. Wonderful camera. Well, my parents have it, but I'm the only one that uses it. SO when you leave the shutter open, what do you set the aperture on? I do a few test exposures before hand by passing my hand in front of the laser to simulate the shot. Then I look at the pictu...

How durable are batteries? That sounds interesting but not if I get splattered with acid. I was just struck by genius! So I've wanted to shoot marbles for a while but didn't want to take the time to make something just for it. I just realized I can use my paintball gun. For a sabot, I can just take ...

How's the accuracy? You cant "make the targets explode into shreds" if you cant hit them. We fired it for a distance of about 20yards maybe and combined with the recoil and the sabot flying everywhere I didn't get a good look at high straight it traveled. But accuracy isn't my main concern. I...

Good work!! Maybe make it a bit thinner so it will have less area to penetrate. Or make the fins out of a thinner plate so it would reduce drag, and decrease effect of the fins slowing it down when going through w/e your trying to penetrate. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Although it did fire ...

19mm Steel Projectile
19mm diameter projectile made from a still spike. With the fins, it is just under 2inch diameter. 50mm with sabot. About 5 inches long. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m37/matt3118/IMG_3829copy.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m37/matt3118/IMG_3789copy.jpg To fill the barrel, my friend and ...

What Gauge Wire For Stun Gun?
So I got really frustrated with crappy push-button sparkers, so I bought a 400,000 volt stun gun off eBay for $25 with shipping. Now I want to connect wires to its prongs so I can fire the gun from a distance. My question- What gauge wire would you say is best? - Or does gauge even matter at all? I'...
