it past over 1 year and still cant figure out how to make a new topic ,, admin explained me couple of times but i just cant find "new topic" like it was old times any how i'll ask here, where the heck do i get particles of dust inside barrel ( accuracy issue ), unscrewed airtank couple of times and...

Re: HA-VI
Ah good, he's still alive! :) Interesting observations. I always figured that in hybrids, since the mixture is pressurized the homogeneity is achieved without the need for further mixing. Have you tried filling from the reservoir and leaving it for a few minutes to see if it makes a difference? I d...

Re: My first working pengun- ammo questions...
I like it, and also, it is the perfect "weapon" to annihilate the state bureaucracy and its henchmen that take many hours from our ephemeral and interesting existence. You waste my time, and I pierce you!

Re: My first working pengun- ammo questions...
Hmmm... from the pen itself? Or the target? Could it be that you had some lubricant in the barrel that ignited from the sudden compression? It was from the target for sure. Maybe just from the steel hitting steel. I did lubricate the piston quite heavily with silicone grease, but I don't think that...

Re: I got some questions.
The piston hybrid was very good. The best thing is that you built it yourself, and you made it work correctly. Total achievement!

Re: I'm back!
Also it is a barrel sealing piston. The "face" sits inside the barrel instead of pressing up against it. The rear oring is a "floating oring" so air passes one way to fill the chamber. It cannot flow in reverse. His drawing is very clear, which is worth ten thousand words! THANKS! :) The barrel sid...

Re: I got some questions.
You may be able to direct the air - mixture inlet towards the spark plug contacts. A little air with some speed might do the trick. My combustion chambers are no more than 10 cm3, and I have the gas inlet stuck to the spark plug contacts. Matter of testing.

Re: stainless steel tube burst pressure
If I had the money, I'd make 3 of every cannon I have and test two to failure under different conditions. That way I'd really know the safety factor in a practical way and discover the weak spots and failure mode. Unfortunately, you could buy a nice car for what all that would cost, so it is what i...

Re: I got some questions.
Butane when burned releases a residue of water and carbon dioxide, which is what you say, referring to the "internal factor 1". The second internal factor is the pressure drop with respect to atmospheric pressure, which condenses moisture, as Mrfoo says. There is at the same time, the normal humidit...

Re: Single-pump hybrid concept
Glad my antics serve to inspire and can be improved upon. What I suggest is trying to keep everything as simple as possible. For the rest, surely a lever will increase the compression and the complexity and size of the weapon, which does not have to be a problem, unless like me, you are looking for ...

Re: about accuracy
The magnus effect, joins in airsoft to oppose the normal parabola made by the plastic ball. We are using a "defect" to compensate for another "defect" to the contrary. If the effecyo magnus cannot be used in contrast, the ball will definitely go off target. I shoot 1/4 "steel bb's with a smooth bore...

Re: about accuracy
It is logical what it says. A 1/4 "steel pellet weighs almost exactly 1 gram. The mass of the ammunition should influence its rotational speed as it exits the barrel intentionally or unintentionally. The heavier, the more resistance to rotating at high speed. Unfortunately, I only have steel bb's th...

Re: HAC- II- R
So I am shooting with the dosing unit attached to the weapon and the external air tank. I'm thinking of replacing the woods, (green), to careen everything, and that the appearance is more aesthetic. In this version, I replaced the solenoid valve with a 3/2 coolant valve with exhaust. The cartridge i...

Re: I'm back!
A photograph of how it was. I am building a mechanism so that it closes automatically. The small piston with two o'rings and the hole in the center is for decompressing. It is fiberglass because it only supports 6 or 7X pressure. The hard part is the one that seals the chamber. I leave here in this ...
