On Suckering In a New Generation of Spudders

On Suckering In a New Generation of Spudders Yes... I realize it's a completely hilarious/original way to phrase it. Rather than an introduction establishing that I don't think new spudders need to be suckered in, along with other wordy creations, it would be much better to just dive in, givin the ...

Re: On Suckering In a New Generation of Spudders

You're probably right overall, but "getting on social media" is about as attractive to me as shoving my finger in a desktop pencil sharpener that's being cranked by an amphetamine-fuelled gibbon.

YMMV

Re: On Suckering In a New Generation of Spudders

I used to be the same way. I still rarely use it these days, but it's the unfortunate truth.

Sums it up pretty well. We are basically a dying breed; the new generations don't care about putting any effort or thought into anything anymore :|

Old Chat Room

Is there any chance we're getting the old chat room back? The one that displayed who was in on the home page? In the new one, nobody is ever in at the same time because you can't tell who is in when you log on. Also, the fact that it lets you choose your own username has cause a lot of "trolling."

Single pumping hybrid, "Strong Boy"

I am planning to build a low compression hybrid, about 3 or 4X, which uses manual force, using the bolt to compress the mixture. I have thought about using the firing gun, with a previously defined volume, to dose the butane. At the end of the day, it is a cylinder of known volume exactly the...

Re: Strong boy, (hybrid compressed to muscle)

I love the concept! The only thing I would change is reduce the diameter of the piston to allow a higher pressure to be reached with the same force applied to the bolt.

Look at rifle caliber bolt action pistols like the Nosler Model 48, they look pretty sweet.

Re: Strong boy, (hybrid compressed to muscle)

Cute!! :)
Can you give me your opinion on the approximate minimum quantity of mixture that can be used, for a 4.76 mm caliber, a pipe length of 25 cm, in a 4X hybrid?
The approximate dimensions would be like this, (the measurements are in centimeters)

C'est étrange, avez-vous des liens vers vos réponses ? Parfois, pour les nouveaux utilisateurs, une approbation manuelle des administrateurs est nécessaire.

That looks fantastic, I like how you've incorporated 3D printed elements and impressive muzzle energy too, it must be very loud!

Interested to see the projectile, is the barrel a smoothbore?

Re: Mon blue king cal 68

Muy linda su arma!! La cantidad de energía es impresionante. Estaría bueno ver un dibujo y saber la fuente de aire comprimido etc. ;)

Re: Mon blue king cal 68

Some impressive performance statistics and more than 50% retained energy at 500 meters is impressive! I'm not sure that the "rifling" on the projectile itself has any real benefit but it does make for an attractive round :D Have you tried some different burst disk thicknesses before finding an optim...
