^^^Now that you have cleared that up, can you give me step by step instructions on how to do my laundry?

I'll chip in 20 bucksHow much would it cost me to pay you to leave?
@Alabaster: Because he's a noob, it makes it even worse, because he may not be sure on the workings and methods of construction if he can't even figure out a list of items.
really good quote/phrase here

From my knowledge with the launcher i have built, powered by compressed air.
Is there something blocking the chamber from the barrel? Like a ball valve? or is it completely open?
I'm not familiar with the cleanout adapter and the male-thread plug you guys talk about.
Where in the Chamber should the fan be located?
I'd ask what diameter the PVC should be but i need to figure that out myself with the rubber chicken.
What length should the Chamber be so i get the most power out of it? What length should the barrel be so I get the most distance out of it? Does the proper length for the chamber and barrel differ over the diameter of the PVC pipe?
So filling this launcher with the fuel (probably propane tank) it takes up an amount of PSI. When i light the fuel with the BBQ lighter the pressure increases, so what should be the amount of PSI i fill the launcher with to stay safe within the PVC pipes PSI rating?
Thank you!

How do i squirt fuel into the chamber? This question i think is pretty much solved by the answer from my first question in this post.Squirt fuel into the chamber then screw on the cleanout plug. Run the chamber fan for a few seconds.

Visit this link http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/inde ... =Main_Page and view ALL of the pages it has listed on the main page starting with: What is a spug gun? Then you should be able to start building your own. If you are going to make a foam casting or use wadding then you only need the pipe to be about an 1" bigger than the chicken. You don't need a 6" barrel 3" or 4" should be fine it will save you a ton of money and still work great. Like I said read that and then decide if you want a combustion or a pnuematic.

I have decided to use a combustion launcher, I have been reading that and will continuously reread it.
I think that maybe you should first learn how to read the numerous posts informing you of places you can research and answer these questions yourself. You are essentially asking the same questions that you have asked from the beginning, and the answer will remain the same: Figure it out yourself!
The proper ratio of Chamber to Barrel in a combustion is about .8:1, which, if you can be bothered to comprehend it before making another mindless post, should answer your questions of chamber and barrel length.
A stoichiometric mixture of C3H8 and air contains about 4.2% propane and 95.8% air. In an airtight chamber, adding the right amount of fuel would add around 0.6psi, which is why fuel meters are used.
This amount of propane should produce the highest pressure possible (which will be around 85psi max if you have an accurate fuel meter. In short, as long as you use pressure rated PVC, you don't have anything to worry about with combustion launchers.
Please don't ask reiterations of the previous questions again, just do some research.
Knowledge? How the hell do you think it would work otherwise? You will get much more respect here if you try to figure some things out for yourself, this is just showing that you can't even use your intellect. From my knowledge with the launcher i have built, powered by compressed air.

Ok well just figure out a few other things (you can use that link to help you) What launcher configuration do you want? What method of ignition? Do you want metered propane? What size chamber and what size barrel do you want?
I'm too lazy to read all the posts, so...
Build a pneumatic, this will be easier to adjust the range on. As long as your sabots (mentioned later) and the weight of your projectiles are pretty close, simply adjusting the pressure will adjust the distance. I'd suggest seeing how small of a pipe you can squeeze the chicken into. This way you can make everything smaller, lighter and faster. You said it's squishy, so I bet you could squeeze it into a pipe maybe 2in diameter? Then, make a sabot out of plastic or something, as similar to the shotcup on a shotshell wad as you can. It can be a aerosole can lid, Dixie cup, plastic cup, paper towel roll, etc, etc.
Here's a site with shotshell wads, if you don't know what they look like. http://tinyurl.com/2wtfrt
Good luck.

I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

yes its on my first post to this thread.spud yeti wrote:So how big is the chicken then? (use a vernier)
Have you posted your previous launcher on the forum yet, and if not, please do, because I wish to view it.
