Nothing much, but decided to post my idea here. I'm trying to get creative with the 800 golf balls that I have to shoot. Since these fit very well in 1.5" SDR-21 pipe, there is still a small amount of space left over. So I wrapped 1 layer of duct tape around 2 balls, then taped them together like this so they don't turn when coming out of the barrel and cause friction. kinda hard to explain but here it is:

they more accurate, do they do more damage?
At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote

You should link two golf balls together with a thin yet strong cord so that when you shoot them, the cord will cut things in it's path! :D Anyways, nice ammo, and I have the same question as Carter. Do they work? And yes, it does look like... well... you know...

Try drilling a large hole in a golfball about 3/4 of they way in, it whistles when you shoot it.

Edit:

That would be nice except with two 2" trailerballs shot from a cannon like the SCTBDC or the SWAT with a chain welded to each each trailerball

Well I mainly shoot at old computer monitors and electronics, so I havent had the chance to test these out.

I'm beginning the design stage for this golf ball launcher, and I will be completing that in a few weeks. THEN I will test!

Why stop at two balls? Go for more and see how many you can effectively link together and still get a good shot. It's not like you're hurting for golf balls or anything.

BTW: It's called chain shot.

when these come out if they were to be joined via cord, if they were the same weight then wouldnt 1 just follow the other? But if you unballenced the weight then they should turn like a heli rotors

anyway back to gwoloshyn's design, ill try it 2morro it looks good!

i tried this today and its impressive, the tight fit and extra wieght give good recoil and it destroyed the ply i had.

seen as no1 responded to my post i tried it 2day. i first joined two golfballs with 30cm of nylon cord but with one hollowed out a little. i placed the heaverer normal one in my barrel first followed by the lighter one. when i shot it it did have some rotation but not much like 180* then the light one got dragged along by heavy one :(

tomorrow i will try again with a super secret design that i have thought of, ah what the hell i may as well put it up here now lol

im going to put fins on the golf balls in opp directions to force them to spin around as the exit the barrel, will it work? ill try anyway

ps: sorry for hijacking, its related tho

It might work, but I think it would probably slow it down a lot.
I don't think the balls need to be very differentiating in weight. Just a small difference or added drag would probably work.

Its ok Carlman, feel free to elaborate on my idea. I have to finish my golf ball gun before I can test out my rounds.
