Anyone know where to find either something that is 1/1" ID, or where to buy steel ball bearings? I checked at Dick's in the sporting section maybe for slingshot ammo but no luck. Any suggestions?

Crowley is correct... man some people are harsh on this forum with the lingo and typing and everything really. Which I guess is what its for.... but anyways I found some 1/4" steel shot but now I need a barrel that's 1/4" ID... any suggestions?

Maybe 1/4 brakeline, I'm not sure if it's I'd is exactly 1/4 or not but you can always check

1/4inch brake line has a id close to .177, larger brakeline may work though

5/16" Steel Brake Line has (very close to) a 1/4" Inside Diameter. A 1/4" Drill Bit fits snugly, inside of the line.

You can pick this up at any major Auto Parts store, such as Checker Auto Parts, for example. They come in many different lengths and are usually less than 5 bucks a piece.

Hope this helps.

As an aside; I've often used this type of tubing, for an airsoft BBMG.

My apologies to revive a relatively old topic, but I feel this is a decent enough reason...

I'm searching for something with a ~.25" ID for 1/4" steel shot sling shot weights (with my caliper I measured them at .2485"). I stumbled across this on McMaster:

Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have a better suggestion, or should I go with this? The listed tolerances are scaring me a little, as the ID could potentially be .247, which would screw me over.

PS: Not looking to use flimsy break line.
