i am finishing up my gun been shooting it and come to realize its a PITA to load it every time.
I would like a sleeve design breech load, doesnt look like theres any pvc that will slide over 2 1/2 sch 40
is there some kind of thin metal pipe that will work?

Use a compression coupling without the o rings and ends. Here is a video of exactly what you want. In this case it was used for a shirt launcher. FYI, At the very end of the video clip, you can see me in the blue shirt with the prototype cannon.

Plumbingsupply.con is the best place to order pvc fittings and also the most inexpensive.... a 2 1/2 inch coupling would be ideal for a breech loader.....

well the compression coupling was a bust all the air escapes from the breech hole. doesnt shoot anything now, bummer
