golf ball problems

i found a golf ball in my yard and i tried it in my cannon. its 1 1/2 inch pvc but the ball wont fit. its too big. is there a better brand or size of golf balls that you use? mine has titleist 1 DT So/ Lo on it. i might buy some on ebay or somthing if i find some cheap.

Golf balls are all the same size, you would have to have a bigger barrel. The Titleist thing is just the brand of golf ball.

You have a sch 40 barrel, and the ID of 1.5" sch 40 pipe is 1.59"
The OD of golball is 1.68" or so, which explains why it won't fit.
You need sdr 21 1.5", which has an ID of 1.700".
Plumbing-oreinted stores should have it, and if you can't find such a store, you could get some from pimpmann22 as salatosser suggested.

Im not sure why to the variations in GB's, but after shooting ~60 lbs of them I have noticed some. About one in fifty wont fit. I think this might be due to the fact it is a dif style GB or that they have a liquid core and that may have expanded while exposure to the sun increasing the OD. The only similarities I have found is all the balls are expensive regulation balls. But oddly enough I have found two identical balls and one will fit and the other wont.
At any rate if your intrested here are the prices:
Unsleeved SDR-21= 1.5$ a foot
Sleeved SDR-21= 3$ a foot
