Fire extinguisher help

I have a dumb question, can I use a disposable fire extinguisher as an air chamber instead of a refillable one? I ask because at the stores I visited the disposable ones are much cheaper and the local fire extinguisher service place is always closed. That and I've seen that a few others have used disposable over refillable, is this as safe as vise versa? I can only fill the thing up to about 100-120 psi. Thanks to anyone who answers.

One thing to keep in mind is that they may be more susceptible to corrosion. So painting the inside might be a good idea
