i am finishing up my gun been shooting it and come to realize its a PITA to load it every time.

I would like a sleeve design breech load, doesnt look like theres any pvc that will slide over 2 1/2 sch 40

is there some kind of thin metal pipe that will work?

Use a compression coupling without the o rings and ends. Here is a video of exactly what you want. In this case it was used for a shirt launcher. FYI, At the very end of the video clip, you can see me in the blue shirt with the prototype cannon.

You could always order online, you'd find one whether on Amazon, eBay, plumbingsupply.com, or industrial suppliers like mcmaster.com or grainger.com.

Plumbingsupply.con is the best place to order pvc fittings and also the most inexpensive.... a 2 1/2 inch coupling would be ideal for a breech loader.....
