i remember when i built my first spudgun we came across some 6" pipe that was pressure rated but i cut it in half and on one half it had PN(pressure number) and on the other half it had the psi and i forgot to look at it and it got chucked so im to scared to use pipe i dont know the rating for.

Yes BC the pipe is so heavy they use the engine jacks to move it onto the cutting bench. They are using it to remodel the 4 olympic sized swimming pools at my high school. The fittings are insane. The Tees And wyes weight more that 10 feet od pipe and they use paint rollers to apply the cement which comes in 5 gallon buckets. I might try to get the 12 " today the only Problem is it was in 20 foot lengths then as BC said that is about 360 Pounds per pipe. I would need at least three people just to load it and I dont know how i would strap it in.
MC Crowley:
Dont you live in Austrailia or something. The onling shopping calculator says $890 to shopp it just to new your from california. It would cest so much you might as well just buy the pipe.

No, it's like 4" to 5." I'm just going to make a fat coaxial pneumatic out of it.

damn... that is incredibly lucky. If it had just been 12" SCH 40, that would have been sick. But 12" SCH 40 has a very low pressure rating, and therefore you could really only use it (with peace of mind) in a combustion
SCH 80, on the other hand, has a safety rating that would allow usage ina pneumatic (no hybrids though
)
Good find with the pipe... now go find some free 12" fittings
