Has anyone tried copper ammo before. I started to make copper bullets with a cap a small peice of pipe then a coupler. The 3/8 fits perfectly into a 1/2 inch barrel. The bullets travel relativiley straight. Has anyone every tried this type of ammo, and if so was is good or bad. I would like to know before I make any more.

it's a good and very strong ammo (full metal jacket refers to the copper covering of a lead slug for a fabricated bullet) the only problem with your application would be the cost. If you can retrieve the slugs, then yes it would work as a devastating ammo. If you are shooting them off into oblivion, then it would add up real quick.

Copper ammo might not be a good idea since the price of copper has skyrocketed over the past couple years. But if you have the budget Id say go for it.
