I might be getting a Ford Fairlane (i can't remember what year) from, my grandma. It was my grandpas, before, he died. My uncle was going to get it but never picked it up. SO i might get it. It has 114000 miles on it. My grandma didn't drain the fluids out of the car, when my grandpa died so it has been sitting in my grandmas garage, with everything in it for 25 years
I'll get pics soon.
Will i have to get all the lines and tanks replaced, or what. I know i will have to get new fuel and stuff
EDIT: IT hasn't moved for 25 years,
Ford fairlane

im 14 years old and my mechinical sidekick is telling me your pretty much screwed youll have to replace all of the rubber hoseing because almost defeintly they are old, dried out, and cracked and i would say your because promblem is its a Ford. Fords mechinical sucks to sum it up and after 25 years it probaly really sucks but i would suggest you just ask a neighbor who is a mechanic and he could tell you. You would have to change all of the fluids get a new battery aslo and proably still have some more problems after that. So my personal suggestion is to get rid of all your problems and simply roll it off a cliff and by your self some other car, all of the repairs will almost or will pay for some other car. First though i would check with a mechanic to make your you dont have a cheap way of saving it.
P.S. I'm your best person when it comes to mechinal things so you or whoever is reading this dont be afraid to ask more questions (im more than happy to answer any bodys questions)Over and out
